Baked and Wired VS Georgetown Cupcake
On a recent trip to Washington DC, I came across two very nom nom, VERY different cupcake shops. The more hole-in-the-wall Baked and Wired and the famous TV show shop Georgetown Cupcake. Hmmm...this requires a LIST!
Georgetown Cupcake
PROS CONS
NOM NOM NOM Almost 3 bucks a
frosting! cupcake...oh well
Moist and delicious! Sorta small, but it
gives it a quaint feel
Very cute
Nice service!
Baked and Wired
PROS CONS
Very big space Cupcake was sorta dry but
hey, you can't always be perfect!
Bigger cupcake
Also sorta pricey, oh well!
Nice service!
SO WHO WINS?
Well I'm certainly putting myself on the spot! But who wins? I think I will have to go with Georgetown Cupcake! Congratulations! By the way, it was very close!
Cups La Jolla
So today I tried out Cups in La Jolla. To sum it up fairly quick: adorable shop. Cupcake had good taste but the consistency was much like a muffin, but it IS all organic. The frosting was nom nom nom (but melted very fast)! But definitely not bad. It was very good!
Sprinkles
The World's First Cupcake Bakery, Sprinkles, is my next shop on my list to review! One word. Or actually, two. NOM NOM! No other way to explain it. Nom nom. Om nom nom.
This is my dark chocolate and almond cupcake.
Cool Angle
